About big sam’s paints
Sam Weinberger aka Big Sam is an absurdly tall artist creating large-scale paintings. Sam’s artwork is inspired by themes of growth, optimism, and the past, present and future with a vibrant and positive color palette. Big Sam’s Paints was born in Boston MA while Sam was receiving a BFA in painting from Boston University College of Fine Arts. Sam has a passion for public artwork and creating messages that positively affects the surrounding community and people on a daily basis.
After moving to Boston from rural New Hampshire, Sam was inspired by the bustling streets and began painting portraits and landscapes on the streets of Boston. These consistent street art performances is what lead to the first murals, commissions, connections…and the beginning of Big Sam’s Paints,
Sam has a passion for working with clients to create meaningful visual stories through mural installations. This could be a mural for a city/town, brand, or home. (see more info in contact section)
Often Sam will create short videos of the art process and upload them on the Big Sam StudiO youtube channel. As well, progress and final projects on Instagram.
Projects have been completed all around the streets of New England, New York, Florida, Colorado, and Overseas.
Big Sam’s Paints is projected-based.
